Biodiversity of the Ananthgiri Hills

The Eastern Ghats of which the Ananthgiri hills are a part is an extremely rich system both from the biodiversity point of view and also for the number of tribal communities that live here. A lot of this, however, is threatened on many accounts, including large scale mining that has been proposed here.
Here are some pictures showing just a miniscule glimpse of these ghats have to offer. Also do see the earlier post which details some of the mining related threats.
